In the 3rd minute Ademar Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Tuive SS's Carlinhos Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natanael Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Júnior Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Carlinhos Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tucumduba FC's Natanael Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natanael Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlinhos Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Osvaldo Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Freitas having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Luizinho Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Bittencourt in the 47th minute of play forced Tucumduba FC's goalkeeper Natanael Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlinhos Bittencourt in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Guimarães saved Tucumduba FC from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Isaltino Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Osvaldo Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuive SS's Isaltino Souto came free and shot a quick shot against goal 70 minutes in the game, fortunately Natanael Guimarães had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Carlinhos Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Ademar Queirós notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tuive SS's Júnior Freitas. Júnior Freitas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júnior Freitas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Carvalho went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tuive SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tucumduba FC.
