When Samuca Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pungare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Carneiro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Pungare FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Guilherme Catarinense hit a great ball. If Glauco Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natã Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Donato went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Serginho Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Serginho Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natã Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd play minute Juninho Donato came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Natã Luz. 2-0. Juninho Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Luz having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuca Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Roberto Silva in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Luz saved Pungare FC from getting behind. Zé Roberto Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Serginho Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Natã Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa de Almeida having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Serginho Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã Luz. Pungare FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serginho Penha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Gustavo Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Juninho Donato scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natã Luz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Juninho Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Pungare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Penha came free, but Natã Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cueira's Zé Roberto Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natã Luz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serginho Penha's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Serginho Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
