In the 3rd match minute, Inhomirim EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibúrcio Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Inhomirim EC's Wilson Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Recife in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pungare FC's goalkeeper Natã Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 minutes, Tarcisio Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inhomirim EC and the Pungare FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Inhomirim EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Wilson Mazza managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Pungare FC's Samuca Carneiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Samuca Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Wilson Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If William de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Wilson Mazza made a huge save. If Luiz Fernando de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inhomirim EC's Josué Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guilherme Catarinense hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Inhomirim EC's Augusto Porto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pungare FC. If Samuca Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Samuca Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pungare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guilherme Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Mazza having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josué Coelho made a kick off. Josué Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natã Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Coelho in the 59th minute of the match. Inhomirim EC's Josué Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josué Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natã Luz having to make a save. Josué Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Vides hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Nico Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fernando de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Josué Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Luz having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
