He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tomar reached it. Luiz de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Matorin having to interfere. Victor Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Isaltino Hoffmann made a huge save. If Luiz de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breno Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Hoffmann having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Carneiro got free with Isaltino Hoffmann in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes Tomar got a freekick which was hit by Tales Ramalho. If Breno Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz de Castro took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Matorin. Oscar Matorin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Oscar Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Duda da Silva hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Tomar were awarded a corner. Pedrinho Martins went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Tomar's Pedrinho Martins to fire away a dangerous shot which Oscar Matorin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Nogueira in the 41st minute of play forced Tomar's goalkeeper Isaltino Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Mazinho Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Lopei EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tomar were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Bittencourt was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 73 minutes, Haroldo Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Paulo Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Haroldo Bittencourt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lopei EC's Oscar Matorin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lopei EC's zone, Luiz de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Matorin came out of the goal and Luiz de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emerson Varela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Isaltino Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Breno Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaltino Hoffmann was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After having played for 94 minutes, Haroldo Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Bittencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
