After a defensive mix-up in Hosana SC's zone, Antônio Carlos Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Luís Fabiano Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hosana SC's Manuel Silva got a free kick in the 7th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Olavo do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Vítor Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A hard shot 11 in the game by Arlindo Prestes from a close distance when the talented César da Cunha managed to make a qualified save. Ayri's players were relieved. Jânio Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César da Cunha having to interfere. In the 16th minute Jânio Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Arlindo Prestes got a very nice opportunity to score, but César da Cunha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luís Fabiano Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo do Vale in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Olavo do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayri's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlindo Prestes got free with César da Cunha in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Arlindo Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arlindo Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César da Cunha having to interfere. 3-0 became the score in the 90th minute when Jânio Rosado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Arlindo Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
