After 16 played minutes Ouvidor SS got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Reis. Dorian Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Vidal in the 19th minute of the match. Ouvidor SS's Dorian Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Vidal in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Gueto SS getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fernando Matorin hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Luís Trigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gueto SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ouvidor SS the free kick. João Carlos Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Corrêa having to interfere. After the first half Gueto SS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilson Melo to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Gueto SS's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Valadares came free, but Jeferson Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorian Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Vidal in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Gueto SS's João Carlos Vidal fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Afonso Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorian Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Afonso Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gueto SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorian Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. If João Carlos Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Carlos Vidal in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorian Corrêa saved Ouvidor SS from getting behind. In the 76th minute, João Carlos Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Ouvidor SS's Dorian Corrêa got control of the ball when Afonso Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Luís Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gueto SS's Denílson Cabral got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Jeferson Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Melo in the 83rd minute of the match. João Carlos Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Wilson Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeferson Diniz was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Wilson Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeferson Diniz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The Ouvidor SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gueto SS's performance. The match ended with a win for Gueto SS.
