Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcos Linares started the match with the kick off. Ronaldinho Netto succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 5th minute, Adhemar Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Vaquejador FC's Natanael Cavalcante got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Celso Mello. After a rather tough play, Vaquejador FC's Lúcio Tavares got a free kick in the 17th minute. Betão Lira scored 2-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldinho Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, José Pedro Lago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aratingauba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaquejador FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Aratingauba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Lago to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldinho Netto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Celso Mello made a huge save. Marcos Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Celso Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Quirino hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ronaldinho Netto struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Celso Mello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaquejador FC. After having played for 36 minutes, Joel Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aratingauba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Betão Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldinho Arce. Vaquejador FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betão Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Osvaldinho Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Araújo in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Araújo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Linares in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Mello saved Aratingauba from getting behind. With his leg Osvaldinho Arce managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Aratingauba's Betão Lira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joel Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Arce having to interfere. Celso Mello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Linares's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aratingauba's zone, Marcos Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Mello came out of the goal and Marcos Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aratingauba's goalkeeper Celso Mello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Linares in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Osvaldinho Arce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luiz Fábio Moreno struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Osvaldinho Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aratingauba. Aratingauba's Celso Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Linares in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Vaquejador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Araújo came free, but Osvaldinho Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernão Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernão Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Vaquejador FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernão Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Charles Nogueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vaquejador FC's Osvaldinho Arce did a great save. The Aratingauba players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Vaquejador FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
