With a couple of smart ball manuevers Digo da Silva in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Tinoco saved Romelandia AD from getting behind. Nelson Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nelson Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Digo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Baptista in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Romelandia AD getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Mazinho Quirino hit a great ball. Wanderson Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Digo da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pedro Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Digo da Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmílson Corrêa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pinheirinho's Edmílson Corrêa got a free kick in the 54th minute. Pinheirinho's Célio Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Digo Mesquita in the 55th minute of play. Célio Palmeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelson Silveira went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Nelson Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Digo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Digo da Silva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Tinoco, passed just outside the right post. Many of Pinheirinho's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Pinheirinho may have spent more time on the ball, but Romelandia AD were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
