In the 59th minute Dedé Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juninho Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luizão do Valle in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guga Alvarenga saved Jamanacari SS from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Jamanacari SS's Edgar Nogueira got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Guga Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão do Valle in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Itabaiana SC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Goiano came free, but Zézinho Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Guga Alvarenga made a huge save. Danilo Goiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zézinho Soeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head.
