Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Róbson Pinho got the match started through his kick off. Tadeu Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadeu Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Waldir Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Tadeu Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Róbson Pinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldir Tavares, 1-0. In the 25th minute of the match Ronaldo Pirani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafinha de Barros skillfully saved the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Eusébio Britto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carquejo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cajaiba SC the free kick. In the 29th minute of the match Cícero Linhares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir Tavares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edson Vianna hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Cajaiba SC's Rafinha de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Soares in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Carquejo got a freekick which was hit by Juninho da Costa. Tadeu Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Tavares having to interfere. Fernando Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafinha de Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Cajaiba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Soares came free, but Rafinha de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Rezende to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ediberto Vander came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cajaiba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediberto Vander couldn't finish the play. Rafinha de Barros didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Fernando Rezende notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Cajaiba SC's Rafinha de Barros. Rafinha de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Carquejo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ronaldo Pirani hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Cícero Linhares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Carquejo's Waldir Tavares didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Soares got free with Rafinha de Barros in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldir Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeu Amorim's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cajaiba SC's goalkeeper Rafinha de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Róbson Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cajaiba SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbson Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Rezende was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 90th minute of the match, Fernando Rezende tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafinha de Barros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 91st minute Tadeu Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cajaiba SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carquejo's performance. The match ended with a win for Carquejo.
