Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Waldemar Zanette took the kick off in the first half of the match. Waldemar Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Anderson Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Negri having to interfere. If Lúcio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aníbal Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Baxiu SC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Xavier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gláuber das Neves, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Waldemar Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Negri having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match, Waldemar Zanette tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anderson Negri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 33 minutes of play, Baxiu SC's Waldemar Zanette made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anderson Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Baxiu SC defense, Lúcio Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Paulo Xavier. The Baxiu SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Paulo Xavier should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Velasco in the 43rd minute of play forced Baxiu SC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Lúcio Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anderson Negri made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Moisés Barral sent off a good shot on target. Anderson Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 57 minutes, Renan de Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baxiu SC and the Cachoera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aníbal Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zé Paulo Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Moisés Barral made a precise shot to the right of Anderson Negri. Cachoera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Anderson Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Zé Paulo Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Cachoera's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Barral came free, but Anderson Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cachoera players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Baxiu SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
