Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Emerson Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glauco Sá having to make a save. Glauco Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hílton Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Sá having to interfere. Glauco Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton de Barros in the 9th minute of the match. Hílton Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Glauco Sá made a huge save. Sílvio Loureiro shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Elivélton de Barros took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Glauco Sá to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, Meios's Abelardo Neves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abelardo Neves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Meios protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abelardo Neves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Meios! Sílvio Loureiro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Durvalino Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meios's Diego Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Sena in the 40th minute of play. Hílton Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Sá having to interfere. Durvalino Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Paulinho Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Glauco Sá came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Meios's Hílton Faria. But to his dismay, Hílton Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Redinha booed when Meios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Redinha's Mauro Cabral got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Paulinho Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hílton Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Cabral hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Meios's goalkeeper Diego Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulinho Neiva. Durvalino Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Baiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Meios's Emerson Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Redinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Sena to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hílton Faria came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Meios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton Faria couldn't finish the play. Meios were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Redinha for a fine match.
