Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elivélton de Barros made the kick off which started today's match. Jânio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Diego Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Arvoresinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Pinho. Hílton Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hílton Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léo Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Meios's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Costa came free, but Diego Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arí Barros was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Francisco Linares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Linares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Jânio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elivélton de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Barros having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jânio Costa made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léo Oliveira got free with Diego Baiano in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvoresinha FC's Arí Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Faria in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Arvoresinha FC booed when Meios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jânio Costa in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elivélton de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arvoresinha FC's zone, Hílton Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Barros came out of the goal and Hílton Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elivélton de Barros scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arí Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Léo Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Baiano having to make a save. Emerson Queirós's late challenge caught a Arvoresinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emerson Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. Emerson Queirós hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jânio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Baiano having to interfere. If Léo Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Meios's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jânio Costa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Costa in the 92nd minute of play forced Meios's goalkeeper Diego Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meios were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Arvoresinha FC for a fine match.
