With a left leg Fellipe Loyola saved Tejucuoca from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Velloso in the 5th minute of play forced Tejucuoca's goalkeeper Fellipe Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fellipe Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fellipe Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Donato in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Favania got a corner. Tejucuoca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giovani Araújo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fred Gomes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Nico Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, Tejucuoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Loyola having to interfere. Fellipe Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Velloso in the 31st minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Tejucuoca got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Linares. If Leonel Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Favania's Felippe Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fellipe Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dedê Quaresma made a kick off. A collision led to Favania getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Patrick de Brito hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Leonel Donato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fellipe Loyola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christiano da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Tejucuoca's goalkeeper Fellipe Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Donato. Fellipe Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Nico Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Quaresma in the 75th minute of play. If Felippe Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Fellipe Loyola made a huge save. When Patrick de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Favania's protests and gave Patrick de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. Dedê Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fellipe Loyola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Donato in the 91st minute. Fellipe Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Favania's goalkeeper Nico Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Favania players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
