Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luís Fernando Pernambucano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jussara FC's goalkeeper José Cearense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogério Leão struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Mathias Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jussara FC. In the 7th minute Valdomiro Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luís Fernando Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ilhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fernando Pernambucano couldn't finish the play. In the 15th match minute, Jussara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto de Lara to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ilhas's Waldir Cavalcante got a free kick in the 18th minute. Valdomiro Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Pirani having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Valdomiro Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jussara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdomiro Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mathias Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Leão in the 29th minute of the match. Jussara FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Ilhas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genílson Galvão took the corner. Marcel Zilles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but José Cearense made a huge save. Luís Fernando Pernambucano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ilhas's goalkeeper Mathias Pirani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rogério Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostão Bezerra hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Leão was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Christian Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Zilles in the 55th minute of play forced Jussara FC's goalkeeper José Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Pirani having to interfere. Ilhas's Mathias Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ilhas from getting a goal against them. After 72 played minutes Ilhas got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Bezerra. Jussara FC's Régis Moura shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mathias Pirani but with some difficulty. 78 minutes into the match, Jussara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Pernambucano came free, but José Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Pirani having to interfere. Mathias Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tostão Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Cearense having to interfere. Jussara FC's Valdomiro Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Leão in the 94th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
