Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Celso Silva started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cayambe's Almir Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Lago in the 9th minute of play. Clóvis Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Claudinei Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Celso Silva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claudinei Barral, passed just outside the right post. Arnaldo Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, Cabeceirinha's Hamílton Fontes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Almir Cosme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabeceirinha reached it. Doni Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Barral having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Celso Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei Barral was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Alexsandro Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Almir Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cayambe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabeceirinha the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Cayambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Castro to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oséas Lago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudinei Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Brodel in the 55th minute of play. Celso Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Celso Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayambe's Almir Cosme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Cayambe from getting a goal against them. Claudinei Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Celso Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cabeceirinha's Cipriano Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almir Cosme was a little too slow when Oséas Lago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-1. 78 minutes into the match, Cabeceirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Trigo came free, but Claudinei Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Oséas Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséas Lago in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almir Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinei Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Silva in the 85th minute of play. Celso Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexsandro Arruda struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Almir Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabeceirinha. Alexsandro Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Almir Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséas Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Cosme having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cabeceirinha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
