Elias Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Célio Duarte made a huge save. Cauã de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Barreto's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Lagoinha SS's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Barreto came free, but Ernesto Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Fonseca in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lagoinha SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ubazinho SS the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Lagoinha SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ubazinho SS:s goal. Chicão França shot the penalty kick right outside the post. César Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Claudinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tony Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lagoinha SS's Ernesto Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Claudinho Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cauã de Andrade was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ubazinho SS's César Lopez got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Ubazinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã de Andrade came free, but Célio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Fonseca in the 78th minute of play forced Lagoinha SS's goalkeeper Ernesto Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lagoinha SS's Cauã de Andrade in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
