Fundao EC's Jerônimo Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Breckenfeld in the 33rd minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match Marcelinho Tande sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrício Senna skillfully saved the ball. Celso Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jerônimo Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jerônimo Cerezo made a huge save. Fundao EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Celso Breckenfeld scored to the left of an out of position Jerônimo Cerezo, making the score, 0-1. Jerônimo Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Breckenfeld in the 87th minute of the match. Jerônimo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Breckenfeld in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Fundao EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jânio Dantas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Fundao EC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Breckenfeld came free, but Jerônimo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pojuca FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
