Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Washington Ceresso made the kick off and thus started the match. Washington Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Orlando Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Washington Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pirarema's Claudinei Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pirarema's Vicente de Amaral got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 21st minute Ronaldão de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Orlando Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Pirarema got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Palmeira. Ronaldão de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Teodoro Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Crissiumal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Prestes couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the game, Luiz Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirarema's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crissiumal the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Pirarema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Washington Ceresso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Pirarema's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Claudinei Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Crissiumal booed when Pirarema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Crissiumal's Lauro Freitas tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Crissiumal's Ronaldão de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romário Pontes. That made the score 0-1 after 63 minutes of play. The supporters of Pirarema booed when Crissiumal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Matos in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Valle saved Crissiumal from getting behind. Diamantino Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Crissiumal's Teodoro Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Prestes got free with Romário Pontes in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Valle came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirarema's Claudinei Matos. But to his dismay, Claudinei Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Crissiumal booed when Pirarema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauro Freitas came free in the 88th minute and tried to tip the ball over Romário Pontes, but to the joy of Pirarema's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Teodoro Prestes struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Romário Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crissiumal. 93 minutes into the match, Ronaldão de Souza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romário Pontes, 1-2.
