Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Duda Cruz started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Sales getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Juvenal Amorim hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Gualter de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Nogueira in the 14th minute of play. Gil Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Sabóia in the 16th minute of play. Sales's Gil Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Sabóia in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Duda Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cigano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. José Carlos Cardozo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Pedro Augusto Paraense's shot from long distance in the 30th minute was not bad at all, but Cigano's Joel de Mendonça knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Joel de Mendonça was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dé Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Cigano's goal looked a bit too open when Dé Nogueira came free, but Joel de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Sabóia in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dé Nogueira made a kick off. Dé Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gualter de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Cigano booed when Sales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Nogueira in the 71st minute of play. If Duda Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute of the match, Carlos Eduardo Sabóia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gil Azevedo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Thiago Souto fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sales's protests and gave Thiago Souto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sales's Thiago Souto got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Berger in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel de Mendonça saved Cigano from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
