Amoreira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandrinho Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amoreira's goalkeeper Cafu Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sandrinho Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Vidal having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Amoreira's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Tróia came free, but Cafu Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Sandrinho Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Maia in the 23rd minute of the match. Hernani da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Marmelo FC's Francisco Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cafu Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani da Silva during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernani da Silva hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Marmelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Ribeiro. Bebeto Moreira, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Francisco Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cafu Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 54th minute, Fellipe Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafu Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Natanael Porto fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marmelo FC's protests and gave Natanael Porto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amoreira booed when Marmelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio Lopes scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caco da Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 67 played minutes Marmelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Maia. Caio Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caco da Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head. Fellipe Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco da Silva having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Marmelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Lopes came free, but Caco da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Fellipe Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Marmelo FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Amoreira from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
