Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Abare FC's Willian Toscano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bruno Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Victor Brodel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Andrézinho Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abare FC's goalkeeper Andrézinho Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dorizon EC's zone, Willian Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Trigo came out of the goal and Willian Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toninho Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Toscano in the 25th minute of the match. Willian Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Toninho Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Willian Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrézinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Marquinhos Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dorizon EC's Nilton Freire got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Soares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Toninho Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Abare FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Antônio Carlos Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrézinho Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hortêncio Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toninho Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Toninho Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Toscano in the 72nd minute of the match. When João Paulo Messias fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorizon EC's protests and gave João Paulo Messias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Abare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Brodel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho Teixeira saved Abare FC from getting behind. When João Paulo Messias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Dorizon EC's João Paulo Messias got a free kick in the 87th minute. Victor Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Teixeira having to interfere. If Hortêncio Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Freitas in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Abare FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dorizon EC.
