Paulo Carioca made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Abelardo Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Abelardo Andrade's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Paulo Carioca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Alberto Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Carlos Alberto Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carvalho's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. During the 47th minute of the match André Luís Mazza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave André Luís Mazza a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. André Luís Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. In the 49th minute of the match Ricardo Cosme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Alberto Gaspar skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Carvalho's Carlos Alberto Gaspar got control of the ball when Tibúrcio Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Alberto Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Borges in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Tibúrcio Sena notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Carvalho's Carlos Alberto Gaspar. Carlos Alberto Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carvalho's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Augusto Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 minutes, Edvaldo Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carvalho and the Perises SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Carvalho getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Edvaldo Mangueira hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Tostão Borges put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Alberto Gaspar. Carvalho were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Perises SC to leave the ground with a draw.
