Uacurutuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vânderson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Freire in the 12th minute of the match. Amauri de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu França having to interfere. Amílton da Cunha took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vânderson Leão. Vânderson Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Uacurutuba getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Belmiro Varela hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Válter Bittencourt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vânderson Leão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Maria Mandrak was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uacurutuba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Uacurutuba:s Vânderson Leão showed great skill when he stopped Válter Bittencourt:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Peixoto in the 28th minute of play forced Uacurutuba's goalkeeper Vânderson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uacurutuba's goalkeeper Vânderson Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Amílton da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Jaragua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton da Cunha couldn't finish the play. Zé Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cafu França made a huge save. Vânderson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton da Cunha in the 37th minute of play. Vânderson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton da Cunha in the 41st minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Loureiro was the one to do the kick off. Uacurutuba's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Amílton da Cunha 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Uacurutuba's Vânderson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton da Cunha in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes in the game, Andrézinho Peixoto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vânderson Leão having to interfere. Rui Souto struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Cafu França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uacurutuba. Vânderson Leão was a little too slow when Francisco Freire got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-3. Rui Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cafu França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute, Zé Loureiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Augusto Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Augusto Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vânderson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton da Cunha in the 88th minute of play. Kauã Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Belmiro Varela fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uacurutuba's protests and gave Belmiro Varela a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uacurutuba's Belmiro Varela got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Kauã Marquez hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Uacurutuba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jaragua FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Jaragua FC.
