Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dorian Britto started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Agenor Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goiandira SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Agenor Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Recife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vânderson Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th match minute, Descarreiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Descarreiro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Agenor Neiva scored to the left of an out of position Edgard Recife, making the score, 1-0. Edgard Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vânderson Massa went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Descarreiro getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Juvenal Linhares hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Goiandira SS's Vinícius dos Santos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 18 minutes into the game, Juvenal Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Descarreiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goiandira SS the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Descarreiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Valério Donato's late challenge caught a Descarreiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valério Donato helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Descarreiro booed when Goiandira SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Berger in the 27th minute of play forced Goiandira SS's goalkeeper Kauan Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Adrianinho Berger made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Goiandira SS's Kauan Luz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 36 minutes, Fernandinho Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goiandira SS and the Descarreiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. 42 minutes into the match, Fernandinho Figueiredo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Edgard Recife threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Fernandinho Figueiredo this time. Goiandira SS's Kauan Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Berger in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute Dorian Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agenor Neiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Agenor Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Recife. Descarreiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agenor Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Adrianinho Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kauan Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Goiandira SS's Valério Donato got a free kick in the 69th minute. Kauan Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Britto in the 70th minute of the match. Andrézinho Coutinho hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Kauan Luz made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Adrianinho Berger sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Descarreiro's zone, Agenor Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Recife came out of the goal and Agenor Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Descarreiro's Adrianinho Berger got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrianinho Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauan Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Britto in the 95th minute of the match.
