Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Laerte Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademar Tróia was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Laerte Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Tróia having to interfere. Ademar Tróia came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Arouca's Dalmo Tepedino. But to his dismay, Dalmo Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Afonso Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the game, Laerte Azevedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ademar Tróia. Laerte Azevedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Delfim Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonso Britto went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Renato Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arouca's goalkeeper Delfim Novaes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Renato Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Novaes having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laerte Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Lira in the 54th minute of play forced Arouca's goalkeeper Delfim Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Laerte Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlinhos Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Arouca getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Carlinhos Couto hit a great ball. Marco Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Afonso Britto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Delfim Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Emilio SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Tepedino came free, but Ademar Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Lira succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Ademar Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Arouca's zone, Renato Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Novaes came out of the goal and Renato Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Laerte Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
