Luzilandia's Douglas Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdir Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Viana having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Andre SS's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Marquez came free, but David Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luzilandia's Valdir Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Donato in the 15th minute of play forced Luzilandia's goalkeeper Roger Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Andre SS's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Negri came free, but David Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Andre SS's zone, Valdir Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Viana came out of the goal and Valdir Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Luzilandia got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Negri. After a rather tough play, Andre SS's Ramón Eger got a free kick in the 27th minute. David Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Basílio Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Andre SS got a freekick which was hit by Didi Saraiva. The audience held their breath when Ronaldão Donato in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the David Viana's left hand side.

The supporters of Andre SS booed when Luzilandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Viana having to interfere. Basílio Donato scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdir Marquez went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaltino Passos in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Brodel saved Luzilandia from getting behind. The supporters of Andre SS booed when Luzilandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Isaltino Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney do Vale struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Roger Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andre SS. Roger Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Donato in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Isaltino Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaltino Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Andre SS had won after a very even match.
