Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cássio Nogueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zeca Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 8 played minutes Ibiapaba got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Magalhães. In the 23rd minute Ademir Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Edu Prado in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ademir Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Zé Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeca Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ibiapaba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raúl Urbano in the 35th minute. A nice corner shot did that Raúl Urbano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeca Rocha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zeca Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Nogueira in the 39th minute of play. Umberto Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Rocha having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ademir Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Edu Prado sent off a good shot on target. Ademir Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Zé Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponta AD. In the 63rd minute, Allan Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umberto Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeca Rocha having to make a save. In the 67th minute, Cássio Nogueira made a precise shot to the right of Zeca Rocha. Ponta AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ponta AD's Ademir Pimenta in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibiapaba's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Cabral in the 93rd minute of play forced Ponta AD's goalkeeper Zeca Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
