Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gildo Fernandez got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, João Azevedo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 9 minutes into the match, Paleomano's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Azevedo. Hélder de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Tomé Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paleomano. After some careless play in the Paleomano defense, João Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Rossi. The Paleomano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Eduardo Rossi should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Ernani Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaguarisinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paleomano the free kick. After a rather tough play, Jaguarisinho's Ernani Costa got a free kick in the 24th minute. Sandro de Toledo, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 25th match minute, Paleomano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio do Valle to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Azevedo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. João Azevedo in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Eduardo Rossi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ivo Silveira's late challenge caught a Jaguarisinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Ivo Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Eduardo Rossi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from João Vítor Guerra. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Délio do Valle hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match João Vítor Guerra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Eduardo Rossi skillfully saved the ball. João Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luiz Eduardo Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Costa in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Eduardo Rossi saved Paleomano from getting behind. If João Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paleomano's Délio do Valle got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Délio do Valle off the ground. 68 minutes into the match, Chico Costa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Paleomano's Luiz Eduardo Rossi. Luiz Eduardo Rossi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Paleomano booed when Jaguarisinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Paleomano defense, Chico Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Eduardo Rossi. The Paleomano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Eduardo Rossi should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, João Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Eduardo Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chico Costa in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Paleomano's Ivo Silveira got a free kick in the 90th minute. João Vítor Guerra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, João Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaguarisinho's supporters rose to their feet, but João Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
