Hélder de Alcântara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but William Prata firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Fernandez in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Prata saved Emburrado FC from getting behind. Paleomano's Luiz Eduardo Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Viana in the 24th minute of play. Ivo Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivo Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Fred Silveira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paleomano's Luiz Eduardo Rossi didn't even have to move. Luiz Eduardo Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Geovani Valle's late challenge caught a Paleomano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovani Valle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Emburrado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Valle to maneuver through the defense. Gildo Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play Emburrado FC's Geovani Valle was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 34th match minute, Emburrado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Valle to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Fernandez in the 36th minute of play forced Emburrado FC's goalkeeper William Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Prata had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gildo Fernandez from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Carlinhos Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Rossi having to interfere. In the 41st minute Dito Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gildo Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gildo Fernandez in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

William Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Fernandez in the 58th minute of the match. Emburrado FC's William Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder de Alcântara in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Paleomano's Gildo Fernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Prata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gildo Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ivo Silveira hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Gildo Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paleomano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Silveira hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Lauro Lago fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emburrado FC's protests and gave Lauro Lago a yellow card for diving instead. Lauro Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Emburrado FC's William Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder de Alcântara in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Hélder de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of William Prata. Emburrado FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Paleomano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Emburrado FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
