When Túlio Brito came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Marajazinho SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Túlio Brito couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Eriberto Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes Noel Trancoso rounded Jaguarisinho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Tomé Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Trancoso in the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Costa in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovânio Neiva saved Marajazinho SS from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio Brito got free with Tomé Fernandes in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chico Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovânio Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Chico Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovânio Neiva having to make a save. When Dagoberto Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marajazinho SS's protests and gave Dagoberto Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. Dagoberto Freitas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Marajazinho SS's zone, Chico Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Neiva came out of the goal and Chico Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Chico Costa made the kick off in the second half. João Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Neiva having to interfere. If Chico Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jaguarisinho's Chico Costa in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marajazinho SS's goalie prevented a goal. Chico Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Geovânio Neiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Jaguarisinho's Chico Costa in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marajazinho SS's goalie prevented a goal. João Azevedo in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 74th minute, José da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Túlio Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Marajazinho SS booed when Jaguarisinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Jaguarisinho's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Maranhense came free, but Tomé Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Freitas was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Marajazinho SS's Dagoberto Freitas got a free kick in the 86th minute. João Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Jaguarisinho booed when Marajazinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Marajazinho SS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. José da Rocha hit a great ball. Jaguarisinho's João Vítor Guerra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marajazinho SS. Marajazinho SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jaguarisinho for a fine match.
