The crowd rose to their feet as Paleomano's Gildo Fernandez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geovânio Neiva. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Geovânio Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder de Alcântara in the 61st minute of the match. Paleomano's Luiz Eduardo Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Paleomano from getting a goal against them. Hélder de Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovânio Neiva having to make a save. Gildo Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Marajazinho SS's Noel Trancoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Eduardo Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paleomano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marajazinho SS for a fine match.
