Cícero Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristóvão Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Jacinto in the 18th minute of the match. Cícero Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The wind increased when Renatinho França made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Maroins's Cristóvão Soeiro got control of the ball when Samuca Jacinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Samuca Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Glauco Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Renatinho França took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Cristóvão Soeiro to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho França in the 74th minute of play forced Maroins's goalkeeper Cristóvão Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedrão Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Víktor Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maroins's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cícero Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuca Jacinto got free with Cristóvão Soeiro in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Samuca Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acari's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pedrão Velloso fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maroins's protests and gave Pedrão Velloso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Pedrão Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Renatinho França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Acari's Renatinho França got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cícero Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Almeida in the 95th minute of the match. Glauco Vides's late challenge caught a Maroins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glauco Vides helped the player get up and apologised. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
