Guadrapas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Norberto Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Silva in the 4th minute of play. Norberto Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Figueiredo in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Enrique Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egídio Silva took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Vides. Norberto Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14thth minute of the game Eusébio Paes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guadrapas's Aleandro Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Frank Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Iconha's Benjamim Linares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guadrapas. When Ramiro Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iconha's protests and gave Ramiro Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. Ramiro Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Eurico de Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guadrapas and the Iconha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guadrapas! The goalkeeper, Aleandro Ferreira, was totally fooled by Iconha's Benjamim Linares, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 34th minute Egídio Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Juninho Abreu could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Aleandro Ferreira however easily saved by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Kauã Meira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aleandro Ferreira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Norberto Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egídio Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Vides having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Iconha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Aleandro Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Juninho Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Egídio Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Norberto Vides throw himself and got hold of the ball when Egídio Silva in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Dorival Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Guadrapas defense, Eusébio Paes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleandro Ferreira. The Guadrapas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleandro Ferreira should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Guadrapas booed when Iconha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juninho Abreu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
