Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dida Pernambucano took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Caraparu booed when Passicho AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilmar Mumbach, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Passicho AD getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lino Barral hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Marcelinho Varela fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Caraparu's Gilmar Mumbach couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Passicho AD. Marcelinho Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Glauco Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lino Barral fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Passicho AD's protests and gave Lino Barral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Passicho AD's Lino Barral got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Gilmar Mumbach shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Passicho AD's Glauco Oliveira to catch but Gilmar Mumbach was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After a rather tough play, Passicho AD's João Vítor Leão got a free kick in the 25th minute. Horácio Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Giovani Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Passicho AD defense, Giovani Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glauco Oliveira. The Passicho AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glauco Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Caraparu's Giovani Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glauco Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Caraparu were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marcelinho Varela made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Giovani Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Dida Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caraparu's Horácio Tepedino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renatinho Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Renatinho Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Horácio Tepedino. Caraparu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Renatinho Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Tepedino having to interfere. Giovani Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Glauco Oliveira made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovani Lopes got free with Glauco Oliveira in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 96 minutes, Marcelinho Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caraparu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
