José Augusto Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Amianto's Vivaldo Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Meira in the 14th minute of play. José Augusto Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Romero in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Pedro Luís Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Moreno notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mondai's José Augusto Lago. José Augusto Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramiro de Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro de Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Amianto got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro de Senna. In the 62nd minute, Didi Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitório Romero in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Augusto Lago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pedro Luís Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but José Augusto Lago made a huge save. José Augusto Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Romero in the 71st minute of play. Amianto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduardo Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amianto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
