Manolo Zilles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Prata in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Alexsandro Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manolo Zilles was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Mutucal FC's Umberto Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mané Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cauã Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umberto Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cauã Moreno came out and tried to block the shot, but Umberto Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 82nd minute. Lúcio Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Zilles having to interfere.
