Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Benê Paulista made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Miguelopolis got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho Senna. Juvenal Lira struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Arnaldo Favoretto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emparedado. Arnaldo Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Lira in the 10th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Emparedado got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Pinheiro. Breno Rezende scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anísio Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Juvenal Lira came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Emparedado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juvenal Lira couldn't finish the play. Dráuzio Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Miguelopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráuzio Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Miguelopolis booed when Emparedado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emparedado's Anísio Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Paulista in the 27th minute of play. Arnaldo Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Lira in the 28th minute of play. Emparedado's Danilo Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juvenal Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arnaldo Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chiquinho Senna during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Juvenal Lira made the kick off in the second half. Breno Rezende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anísio Veiga having to make a save. Danilo Tavares's late challenge caught a Miguelopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Emparedado got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Tavares. Alexsandro Rezende's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Anísio Veiga - 2-0 was put on the score board in the 55th minute. Anísio Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benê Paulista in the 58th minute of the match. Edgar Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Veiga having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play Emparedado's Danilo Tavares was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Emparedado's Danilo Tavares got a free kick in the 75th minute. Breno Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Germano Dracena put in a rough tackle. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Emparedado! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Miguelopolis. Alexsandro Rezende stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anísio Veiga. 3-0. Benê Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anísio Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
