Armando Araújo came out of the goal and Jeremias Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 minutes, Ciro Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macuripe SS and the Cacaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armando Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Souza got his second yellow card in the match during the 16th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 18 played minutes Cacaria got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Tepedino. Armando Araújo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cacaria's Mané Quadros shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronaldinho Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
