The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Eucalipto's zone, Nestor Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson de Alcântara came out of the goal and Nestor Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Eucalipto got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Souza. Pedro Paulo da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gabriel da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Oséias Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macuripe SS's goalkeeper Armando Araújo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Macuripe SS getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Oséias Vianna hit a great ball. With a little luck, Macuripe SS's Armando Araújo got control of the ball when Pedro Paulo da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Paulo da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Eucalipto's Gabriel da Cunha in the 38th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Armando Araújo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Macuripe SS through an amazing save.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel da Cunha made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Eucalipto's Pedro Paulo da Rocha made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Macuripe SS's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo da Rocha came free, but Armando Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Armando Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emerson de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Nestor Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Paulo da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Armando Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eucalipto. Nestor Amorim succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 68th playminute. Armando Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo da Rocha in the 73rd minute of play. Armando Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel da Cunha went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Gabriel da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. Eucalipto's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
