Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Agostinho Diniz made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Ivo Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vertentes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Betão Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agostinho Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Borges having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ivo Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vertentes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th match minute, Figueiredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Borges came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Figueiredo's Agostinho Diniz. But to his dismay, Agostinho Diniz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Figueiredo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Manolo Alves hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Murilo Jacinto scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Álvaro Linhares who was too lazy, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Osvaldinho Vasconcelos made a precise shot to the right of Gláuber Borges. Vertentes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Ivo Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Vertentes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Oliveira couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivo Oliveira to make the kick off. Agostinho Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivo Oliveira took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Linhares. Álvaro Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gláuber Borges made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Haroldo Gomes sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldinho Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Vertentes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldinho Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Figueiredo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Osvaldinho Vasconcelos hit a great ball. Figueiredo's Osvaldinho Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Osvaldinho Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldo Gomes got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Haroldo Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Figueiredo's Álvaro Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Oliveira in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vertentes FC's Percy Vieira got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Osvaldinho Vasconcelos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gláuber Borges. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 81st minute, Ivo Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Álvaro Linhares came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Vertentes FC's William das Neves. But to his dismay, William das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Agostinho Diniz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes of play Figueiredo's Agostinho Diniz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd match minute, Figueiredo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Diniz to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
