Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Júnior Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malhador's protests and gave Júnior Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. Júnior Mineiro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Ronaldo Zanette put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Durval de Toledo. Alfredinho de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval de Toledo having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Malhador's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Zanette came free, but Durval de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Rafa Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval de Toledo having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval de Toledo. Malhador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Zanette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Rodolfo Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When Anselmo Senna came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Malhador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Senna couldn't finish the play. Alfredinho de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Durval de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredinho de Almeida to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Malhador's Washington de Azevedo got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, João Adolfo da Silveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Durval de Toledo. João Adolfo da Silveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Malhador's zone, Alfredinho de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval de Toledo came out of the goal and Alfredinho de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho de Almeida in the 69th minute of play forced Malhador's goalkeeper Durval de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Malhador's zone, Alfredinho de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval de Toledo came out of the goal and Alfredinho de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Durval de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredinho de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Alfredinho de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Ronaldo Zanette got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paixao FC's João Pedro Donato shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Durval de Toledo but with some difficulty. Juan Vale took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Durval de Toledo. Durval de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The Paixao FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Paixao FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
