Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benê Velasco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benjamin Prata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival da Cunha having to make a save. If Anselmo Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Catumbi's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Félix came free, but Adalmo Quaresma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benê Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorival da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Sandro Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Sandro Alcântara in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dorival da Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Catumbi's zone, Elói Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalmo Quaresma came out of the goal and Elói Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Félix in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalmo Quaresma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ibitioca FC's Elói Félix got a free kick in the 35th minute. Anselmo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dorival da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Félix in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalmo Quaresma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Catumbi's Sandro Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorival da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Dorian Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorival da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Pontes's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Ibitioca FC's Telmo Galvão got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 73rd play minute Elói Félix came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adalmo Quaresma. 0-1. Catumbi's Adalmo Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Velasco in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Catumbi's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Velasco came free, but Adalmo Quaresma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elói Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elói Félix got free with Adalmo Quaresma in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, Ibitioca FC's Elói Félix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalmo Quaresma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ibitioca FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
