Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilson Jacinto started the match with the kick off. If Luizinho Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltazar Correia hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Fellipe Arruda struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Dorival Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rajadinha SC. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Luizinho Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rajadinha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizinho Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorival Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Mazza in the 16th minute of play. Dorival Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cayambe SC's Dorival Paulista got control of the ball when Fellipe Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard Berger's late challenge caught a Cayambe SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Berger helped the player get up and apologised. Rajadinha SC's Fellipe Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cayambe SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luizinho Mazza 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Luizinho Mazza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Rajadinha SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Luizinho Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Rajadinha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizinho Mazza couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizinho Mazza was the one to do the kick off. Luizinho Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rajadinha SC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Natã Rosa hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Luizinho Mazza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorival Paulista was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 58 minutes, Eugênio da Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cayambe SC and the Rajadinha SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Cayambe SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Dorival Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cayambe SC's Dorival Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Mazza in the 74th minute of play. Elder Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Jacinto in the 79th minute of the match. If Luizinho Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cayambe SC's zone, Luizinho Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Paulista came out of the goal and Luizinho Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Luizinho Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Rajadinha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizinho Mazza couldn't finish the play. Rajadinha SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
