Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hernani Pombal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Luizinho Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rajadinha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizinho Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Zacarias SC's Benedito de Medeiros got control of the ball when Fellipe Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Rajadinha SC's Fellipe Arruda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedito de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After recieving a nice pass, Rajadinha SC's Fabiano Toscano tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Luizinho Mazza in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rajadinha SC's Elder Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Bittencourt in the 20th minute of play. When Edgard Berger fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rajadinha SC's protests and gave Edgard Berger a yellow card for diving instead. Fellipe Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Pombal in the 26th minute of play forced Rajadinha SC's goalkeeper Elder Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernani Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Pereira having to interfere. When Natã Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rajadinha SC's protests and gave Natã Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Rajadinha SC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Rosa. Francisco Pirani charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Pirani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Francisco Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 40 minutes, Fellipe Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rajadinha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fellipe Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedito de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Mazza in the 42nd minute of the match. When Luizinho Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Rajadinha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizinho Mazza couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luizinho Mazza was the one to do the kick off. Zacarias SC's Benedito de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Mazza in the 51st minute of play. Luizinho Mazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedito de Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luizinho Mazza in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes of play, Rajadinha SC's Luizinho Mazza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benedito de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Rajadinha SC's zone, Hernani Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elder Pereira came out of the goal and Hernani Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedito de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Zacarias SC booed when Rajadinha SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doni Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Elder Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Kiko Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zacarias SC and the Rajadinha SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Kiko Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Toscano, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Arruda in the 84th minute of play forced Zacarias SC's goalkeeper Benedito de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizinho Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito de Medeiros having to interfere. Carlos Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rajadinha SC fully deserved thier win.
