After 13 minutes of play, Varzea's Evaristo Prado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Varzea's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adalberto Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ouricuri SC reached it.
