When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Nilton Aguiar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tiago Gabriel Peixoto. Memori SS's Kauã Fonseca pulled a muscle in his back after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Walmyr Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marinopolis's protests and gave Walmyr Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. Walmyr Nóbrega hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Cristóvão da Fonseca was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luisinho da Mata. Simão da Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cristóvão da Fonseca made a huge save.

After 53 minutes Memori SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erasmo de Mendonça who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Marinopolis's Fernandinho Rosado getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão da Costa in the 59th minute of play forced Marinopolis's goalkeeper Cristóvão da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cristóvão da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo de Queiroz during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gonçalo de Queiroz hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Kauan Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match.
