Tiago Gabriel Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arthur Bezerra went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Orlando Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chapadinho's zone, Gonçalo de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé da Cunha came out of the goal and Gonçalo de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlando Eger was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chapadinho's zone, Simão da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé da Cunha came out of the goal and Simão da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dé da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Memori SS booed when Chapadinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dé da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Simão da Costa sent off a good shot on target. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Orlando Eger advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-1 in the 85th minute. Simão da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé da Cunha having to interfere. Arthur Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chapadinho had won after a very even match.
