Emborahy EC's Germano Mota couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Abunai AD. Abunai AD's Arthur Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Duarte in the 14th minute of play. José Vítor Coutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válter Cerezo in the 16th minute. José Vítor Coutinho made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Válter Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Zézinho Guimarães made a precise shot to the right of Arthur Moreira. Abunai AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Arthur Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Emborahy EC's José Vítor Coutinho got control of the ball when Válter Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 51 played minutes Abunai AD got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Coutinho. Arthur Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Duarte in the 53rd minute. After 65 minutes, Caio Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abunai AD and the Emborahy EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Caio Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Favoretto in the 70th minute of play forced Emborahy EC's goalkeeper José Vítor Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
