Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Elder Rossi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dorival Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Luiz Fabiano Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Ricardinho Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olea and the Salsas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelo da Silveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Arce. Olea's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luizinho Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizinho Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Olea got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Messias. Diego Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Arce having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salsas's zone, Dorival Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fabiano Tavares came out of the goal and Dorival Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorival Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elder Rossi in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Arce saved Olea from getting behind. After 32 minutes, Guto Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salsas and the Olea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Salsas got a freekick which was hit by Guto Lopez. 33 minutes into the match, Olea's Cauã Xavier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Samuel Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 34th match minute, Salsas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Senna to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Olea were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorival Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Corrêa in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fabiano Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Elder Rossi came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Salsas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Rossi couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Elder Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dorival Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Salsas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Lopez to maneuver through the defense. If Dorival Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salsas's Luiz Fabiano Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Salsas from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Olea booed when Salsas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Zacarias Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olea's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fabiano Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zacarias Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Olea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Sampaio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Olea booed when Salsas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Corrêa in the 92nd minute of play forced Salsas's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
